Satisfied 03:14
It was twelve days ago in a pub. Night was near. I was on me fourth pint of their best Irish beer When a thought quickly struck me of all I hold dear. So I went on outside to the hills with my beer. Well, I've smelled all the flowers. I've left none to hide. I've told more the truth than I've told fib or lie And I hope when ye find me in the hills where I'll lie It'll always be said that I died satisfied. Well, I took both the good and the bad in me life. And I made the most of it in a home with me wife. And I raised me two kids both a girl and a boy. And they all made me life, a gift to enjoy. Well, the evening was leaving and the sun said goodbye. I thought of me past and I smiled with a sigh. Oh, I had no regrets nay a reason to cry. So I drank me beer down 'till the glass all was dry.

The Path 04:36
So many times I've walked this path With different places gone to Though often I do lose my way I always seem to make it through CHORUS I've walked through valley brook and glenn I've wandered all in sorrow I’ve left my home and still I fear I'll feel the same tomorrow A bare knoll or a tree to climb, Can help to see the way, And deep ruts of some ancient time May lead you from your stray. Chorus In cold air sight and sound go far, When traveling to and fro, But a stout heart always gets you by, Even when the sun is low. Chorus I feel I've lived a hundred years A good life through and through But still I'll live a few years more For I've still much to do Chorus

O Bonny Portmore, you shine where you stand And the more I think on you, the more I think long If I had you now, as I had once before All the lords in old England would not purchase Port more O Bonny Portmore, I am sorry to see Such woeful destruction of your ornament tree For it stood on your shore for many's the long day Till the long boats from Antrim came to float it away O Bonny Portmore, you shine where you stand And the more I think on you, the more I think long If I had you now, as I had once before All the lords in old England would not purchase Portmore All the birds in the wood, they do bitterly weep Saying, "Where shall we shelter, o where shall we sleep?" For the oak and the ash, they are all cut down And the walls of Bonny Portmore they are down to the ground O Bonny Portmore, you shine where you stand And the more I think on you, the more I think long If I had you now, as I had once before All the lords in old England would not purchase Portmore

When I was one-and-twenty I heard a wise man say, "Give crowns and pounds and guineas But not your heart away; Give pearls away and rubies But keep your fancy free." But I was one-and-twenty, No use to talk to me. When I was one-and-twenty I heard him say again, "The heart out of the bosom Was never given in vain; 'Tis paid with sighs a plenty And sold for endless rue." And I am two-and-twenty And oh, 'tis true, 'tis true. When I was one-and-twenty That time so long ago, Then love could be not empty. The truth of youth’s ego. With age one feels not guilty In youth’s all love anew. Now I am two-times-twenty New love I’ll leave to you.

Oh, it is the biggest mix-up that you have ever seen. Me father, he was Orange and me mother, she was green. Oh me father was an Ulster man, proud Protestant was he. Me mother was a Catholic girl, from county Cork was she. They were married in two churches, lived happily enough, Until the day that I was born and things got rather tough. Baptized by Father Riley, I was rushed away by car, To be made a little Orangeman, me father's shining star. I was christened "David Anthony," but still, in spite of that, To me father, I was William, while me mother called me Pat. With Mother every Sunday, to Mass I'd proudly stroll. Then after that, the Orange lodge would try to save my soul. For both sides tried to claim me, but i was smart because I'd play the flute. I’d play the harp, depending where I was. Now when I'd sing those rebel songs, much to me mother's joy, Me father would jump up and say, "Look here would you me boy. That's quite enough of that lad", he'd then toss me a coin And he'd have me sing the Orange Flute or the Heroes of The Boyne One day me Ma's relations came round to visit me. Just as me father's kinfolk were all sitting down to tea. We tried to smooth things over, but they all began to fight. And me, being strictly neutral, I bashed everyone in sight. Me parents never could agree about me type of school. Me learning was all done at home, that's why I'm such a fool. They've both passed on, God rest 'em, but they left me caught between That awful color problem of the Orange and the Green.

A long time ago, when the Earth was green There was more kinds of animals than you've ever seen They'd run around and play while the Earth was being born But the loveliest of all was the unicorn There were green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born The loveliest of all was the unicorn Now the Lord seen some sin’in, and it gave Him pain He says, "Stand back, I'm gonna make it rain" He says, "Hey brother Noah, I'll tell you what to do Build me a floating zoo, and bring some of those... Green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born Don't you forget My unicorns Well Noah was there to answer the call He finished building the ark just as the rain started fallin He marched in the animals two by two And he called out as they went through “Hey Lord, I've got your green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees Some cats and rats and elephants, but Lord, I'm so forlorn I just can't see no unicorns" So Noah looked out through the driving rain Those unicorns were laugh‘in, and playing silly games They were running and playing while the rain was pouring Oh, them silly unicorns There were green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees Noah cried, "Close the door cause the rain is pourin And we just can't wait for no unicorns" The ark started moving, it drifted with the tide The unicorns looked up from the rocks and they cried And the waters came down and sort of floated them away That's why you never see unicorns to this very day You'll see green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born You're never gonna see no unicorns There All Dead!!! Now you may think this is the ending to this song, But I’d have to tell you friends that in fact you’d be wrong You see Unicorns are magical, so when the rain started pourin, They grew themselves some wings and they took to soarin. You'll see green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees But if you’re lookin for the Unicorns don’t be forlorn, The second star on the right, and straight on until morn!

Weigh-Ho the rattlin' bog, the bog down in the valley-o Weigh-Ho the rattlin' bog, the bog down in the valley-o And in that bog there was a tree, a rare tree, a rattlin' tree With the tree in the bog And the bog down in the valley-o. Now on that tree there was a limb, a rare limb, a rattlin' limb With the limb on the tree and the tree in the bog And the bog down in the valley-o. Now on that limb there was a branch, a rare branch, a rattlin' branch With the branch on the limb and the limb on the tree and the tree in the bog And the bog down in the valley-o. (Repeat, adding a line each time) Now on that branch there was a twig, a rare twig, a rattlin' twig..... Now on that twig there was a nest, a rare nest, a rattlin' nest..... Now in that nest there was an egg , a rare egg, a rattlin' egg..... Now in that egg there was a bird, a rare bird, a rattlin' bird..... Now on that bird there was a feather, a rare feather, a rattlin' feather ..... Now on that feather there was a flea, a rare flea, a rattlin' flea ..... Now on that flea there was an eye, a rare eye, a rattlin' eye ..... Now on that eye there was a gleam, a rare gleam, a rattlin' gleam ..... Now on that gleam there was the world, a rare world, a rattlin' world ..... Now on that World there was a Bard, a rare Bard, an Irish Bard .....
